Frequently Asked Questions

On Sundays we run a contemporary service at 9am and a prayer service at 5pm.

9am Service

The building is open from 8:30am for our 9am service which runs for about an hour and a half. During this time we will share in:

  • Worship - We stand and sing songs led by our worship team. Words are on screen but you're also welcome to stand (or sit) and just listen. Some people raise their hands as they sing, some don't, you won't be judged however you participate.
  • Sermon/Message - one of our preaching team (or sometimes a guest) will bring a 20-30 minute message and Bible teaching.
  • Communion - A member of our congregation leads us in a time of reflection on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. We provide individual communion packs containing grape juice and a wafer which we drink and eat as a symbolic way to remember what it cost Jesus for our salvation. There is no obligation to take communion, in fact, if you are unsure, we ask you to respect this time and not partake. Some churches do this monthly or fortnightly, however we share in communion each week.
  • Church Prayer - one of our elders will lead the church in a time of prayer for our community
  • Announcements/Notices - a short time to let people know what is going on in the life of the church
  • Invitation for Prayer - at the end of each service will be an opportunity for people to come forward for prayer. This is not a big, emotionally charged 'altar call' but an offer to have one of our elders or teaching team pray for you, for something specific, or just generally.

On special occasions there may also be other activities such as baptisms, baby dedications, mission updates, and more as things happen in the life of our church.

5pm Service

The building is open from 4:30pm for our 5pm service which runs for about an hour. During this time we will share in:

  • Worship - We stand and sing songs led by our worship team. Words are on screen but you're also welcome to stand (or sit) and just listen. Some people raise their hands as they sing, some don't, you won't be judged however you participate.
  • Group Prayer - In small groups we pray for our Church, our community and for each other. Our pastors prepare a sheet of prayer points, and prior to beginning prayer we discuss any specific prayer needs that we want to focus on. We also encourage groups to spend a moment speaking to each other before praying and making any personal prayer requests that they may have.

Yes you can! We livestream our 9am service each week on YouTube, which you can find here.

You can also access past sermons here.

On Sunday mornings during the school term we offer programs for kids and youth that run alongside our 9am service. There is no obligation for your children to attend programs if you would like them to stay with you, and of course you are welcome to join your kids to see what happens in our programs.

These programs are a lot of fun for the children with a focus on teaching the Bible in an age-appropriate way and include a range of activities from stories and songs, to arts and crafts, and of course a few games.

Programs include:

  • Creche - Under 2 years
  • HR Kids - 3 Years to Grade 6
  • Youth Bible Study - Grade 7 to Grade 12

All programs are supervised by leaders that have a current Blue Card and have completed our Safe Ministry Training that covers Child Safety.

To have your kids attend just visit the sign-in table on Sunday morning. You will need to fill out a short form with contact details for our Child Safety processes and then your kids are free to go.

On occasion we will have our HR Kids and/or Youth Bible Study groups join us in the main Auditorium for special events.

Please note that there are no kids programs during our 5pm prayer service - we encourage you to bring your children along to participate in prayer and worship with you!

There is no dress-code for our church, we welcome you to come as you are. Most people just wear smart, casual clothes. That being said, the church building is air-conditioned and can sometimes get a bit cool, so if you're a cold frog, maybe bring an extra layer.

We'd love to help you get connected. If you are attending on a Sunday, there's opportunities to mingle for coffee after the service (grab a Hello Pack from the info counter if you're new - there is a free coffee voucher inside for you to use!). There are also a number of programs we have on offer where you can connect with others at a similar life stage. Check out the Ministries page for more information on the programs we have going on, or the Events page for upcoming events where you can meet other people.

Great question, you can view our beliefs here.

We have a number of different programs that run throughout the week, such as Bible Study groups, Youth Group, English Classes and more! You can find out more about our programs here.
